THE SERIES: Cisco and Navarro will play Saturday for the 73rd time since the series began in 1947. Cisco beat Navarro 12-0 in the opener, but the Bulldogs dominate the matchup, 52-19-1. Navarro won last year's game at Chesley Field in Cisco, 26-7. CJC's last win In Corsicana occurred in 1997 when coach Chuck Lawrence's Wranglers spoiled Navarro's homecoming, 20-7, at old Tiger Field.

NAVARRO LAST WEEK: Navarro had an open date for the third time this season and second in three weeks. The Bulldogs' 'Sophomore Day' non-conference opponent, Louisiana Community Christian, did not have enough players to suit up for what would amount to a stat-feeding scrimmage.
CISCO LAST WEEK: The Wranglers jumped to a 14-point lead over Tyler in the first seven minutes, but the Apaches countered with 24 unanswered and proceeded to take a 38-28 win. In his first start of the season, Cisco quarterback Dallas Gomez threw touchdown passes to T.j. Steele, 41 to Kye Stone and 13 to Corey Sandolph. The Wranglers scored the game's first touchdown at 13:54 of the first period when Samuel Odelami's 69-yard, scoop-and-score return of a Logan Johnson fumble,
ABOUT NAVARRO: The Bulldogs average 344 yards and 28.3 points. Navarro's offense breaks down as 55 percent passing (201.3 yards) and 45 percent rushing (143). The Bulldogs' defense yields 326.8 yards and 27.3 points. NC's rushing defense gives up 132.3 yards; its pass defense, 194.5.
ABOUT CISCO: The Wranglers average 273 yards and 23.3 points. First-year head coach Stephen Lee's CJC club bases in the Air Raid offense that passes 73 percent of the time behind three different quarterbacks. While Cisco averages about 203 yards passing, it's rushing game is Predictable and pedestrian with two feature backs, Jadarius Thomas and Jayshon Powers. Thomas and Powers combine for 84.2 percent of the carries (96 of 114) and 86.5 percent of the yardage (466 of 539). Defensively, Cisco yields 275.6 yards and 22 points.
