Navarro Basketball deploys representation to the nation's top showcase events in Atlanta, Ga., and Las Vegas, Nv., July 7-10.

 

Sophomores Addarin Scott and Xavier Pina will be among the country's 200 best junior college players participating in JUCORecruiting.com's All-American JUCO Showcase Invitational July 9-10 at the International Sports Arena in Stone Mountain, Ga.

 

Scott and Pina will compete head-to-head with the top JUCOs players in front pf hundreds of college coaches, national media, :scouts and film services during the two-day event.

 

The All-American JUCO Showcase events have had nearly every top JUCO player since 2010, with thousands of players moving on to the four-year level, and have had many future NBA players including Chris Duarte, Gary Payton II, Alize Johnson, Mychal Mulder, Jay Scrubb, Kadeem Allen, and many more.

 

Last season for Navarro, Scott had 10 double-figure scoring games and averaged 6.4 points with 4.9 rebounds. He had a 10-point, 11-rebound game against conference foe TVCC. Pina hit 39.3 percent beyond the arc as NC's top three-point shooter and finished the year with 64 treys. He hit 9-of-13 three-pointers in a game against Blinn.

 

On Wednesday, July 7, Navarro College head coach Grant McMillan will be working the sidelines for a second consecutive year at JUCO Advocate's JA48 Showcase in Lss Vegas, Nv.

 

The JA48 invites 48 of the country's rising sophomores to its event at Basic Academy. Six teams made from the 48 invitees will play full regulation games two days.
