Second-Team All-Conference infielder Taylor Nuckolls signed to play softball at Missouri Southern State University of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).

 

During her 50-game freshman season here. Nuckolls (4-31-25, .359) finished third in total bases (79), extra-base hits (15) and sacrifice hits ( and had a 10:9 walk-to-strikeout ratio.

 

Coach Hallie Blackney's MSSU Lions went 41-15 overall and 21-5 in conference. Missouri Southern advanced to the MIAA Tournament Finals for the first time since 2001 and hosted a regional for the third time in school history while making their ninth NCAA tournament appearance.
