Region XIV MVP freshman forward Constance Agyemang became the 11th Navarro soccer player to earn NJCAA First-Team All-America honors.
Agyemang, the only freshman on the first team, led NJCAA Division I point makers (63) and finished third in goal scoring (24) while helping coach Alicia Wilson's Bulldogs (11-3-6) to their 11th national tournament appearance and their fourth at-large qualification since 2018.
In her first experience of pool play at the national tournament, Agyemang accounted for six points in the Bulldogs' 1-0-1 effort, with two goals and two assists. Among Navarro's single-season program records, Agyemang's 24 goals rank fifth and her 15 assists stand eighth. She matched Trudi Carter's 2013 goal-scoring total.
She started 18 of Navarro's 20 matches this season and scored in 12. During a stretch of eight matches, Agyemang tallied 42 points from 18 goals and six assists. The scoring flurry included a six-goal match and hat tricks in two other matches.
