4 Next-Level Bulldogs Reunite at NAIA Tournament

Four former Navarro Bulldogs are competing on soccer teams that have reached The 40th Annual NAIA Womens Tournament Championship's Round of 16 at the Foley (AL) Sports Tourism Championship Stadium beginning Monday.
 
The participants and their qualifying teams include Kaede Yamaguchi and Lacey Ann Murray of Central Methodist University (MO),, goalkeeper Grace Staunton of Life University (GA), and senior midfielder Nathalie Rojas of Bethel College (TN).
 
Yamaguchi, Murray and the Central Methodist Eagles will be playing at 4 pm Monday in a Round of 16 match against Hastings College (NE)
 
CMU, ranked No. 4 overall, is making its fourth trip in five seasons to the NAIA Tournament's Final Site. Their opponent, Hastings, upset Missouri Valley College in a penalty-kicks shootout to advance
 
Life (14-4-2) and Bethel College (11-3-3) will be among the teams on the opposite side of the bracket in action at 10 am Tuesday.
 
Life, of Marietta, Ga., will face 20th-ranked Truett-McConnell (18-2-2) in a second 'meeting' this year. The teams played a season-opening exhibition August 8.
 
Bethel's Lady Wildcats challenge No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor, Mi., in another Round of 16 paiiring.
 
Coach Danny Owens' unbeaten William Carey University Lady Crusaders (21-0-0) are top-seeded in the tournament.
