Alicia Wilson

Wilson joined Navarro College from the University of West Florida where she served as assistant coach since 2013. Prior to her successful stint at UWF, Wilson enjoyed a decorated college and professional playing career. The 2001 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) Player of the Year was a four-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), NAIA All-American, and a four-time All GCAC performer at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS. She then spent six years playing professional in Iceland and Costa Rica and over 14 years playing on the Jamaican national team, representing the island country in qualifying tournaments and serving as team captain.

Wilson graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology from William Carey University in 2005, and was awarded her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of West Florida in 2007. She serves as head women’s soccer coach and assistant professor of Kinesiology.
