CORSICANA, TX- The Navarro College Volleyball program (8-4) will take on Trinity Valley Community College (6-8) this Thursday at the Cardinals' gym in Athens, TX at 6 PM CST.
The Dawgs will take on the Cardinals this Thursday before gearing up for their second to last home match on Saturday against Lee College (3-9).
The Navarro College Volleyball program is currently in the third slot of conference play. They have four conference matches left in the 2021-2022 season before the Regionals Tournament (Nov. 5-7). An additional tri-match has been set up late in the season to allow the Dawgs two extra matches before the Region XIV Regionals.
NC had three Region XIV Players of the Week (Oct. 11-16). All three were freshmen players including outside hitter, Tjasa Malnar, setter Eline Fieremans, and libero Alessia Sonzini. They earned votes for Region XIV Player of the Week in each of their respective positions with Tjasa Malnar notching 41 kills, Eline Fieremans with 129 assists, and Alessia Sonzini had 62 digs.
